WHAT WE DO

Founded on September 20, 1983, under the name SOPROH - Society for Human Promotion, when its forerunners, Umberto Medeiros and his wife, Mrs. Terezinha, and Eurico Honório and his wife, Mrs. Maria Helena, at the time members of the School for Parents in Brazil, Goiás sub-section, were approached by an alcoholic seeking help to overcome his addiction. This sparked the desire to have a place to welcome not only that man, but also other people dependent on alcohol and other drugs, at the time, starting from the age of 13.
